چکیده

Background: The world is facing a big challenge of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Herbs have tremendous potential antimicrobial
activities. This study was aimed to find out the activity aqueous ethanol extracts Curcuma longa (CL) and Withania somnifera (WS) individually in different ratios formulations.
Materials methods: CL WS were extracted predefined ratio medium, condensed formulations prepared 25:75, 50:50 75:25 respectively. Culture mediums Bacillus subtilis Serratia marcescens prepared. A disc with samples CL, WS, placed cultured plate. inhibition microbial growth around discs indicated zone inhibition. presence or absence noted its diameter calculated.
Results: did not show any against individually. However, when combined it showed significant effect. maximum effect subtilis, followed by 75:25. İn case Serrata marcescens, 25:75 effect, Other almost similar effect.
Conclusion: their marcescens. alone formulation but CL. Formulation better than other samples.
